These are wines made by an agriculture that respects the soil (practices are much more strict than organic) and looks at the sky as lunar phases are very important for clean agriculture. Also these wines are Vegan, which a further guarantee to you of non manipulation with ingredients that are not supposed to be there and with no residual sugar (Keto).
Sparkling - 1701 Sullerba
This is a classic method not disgorged of Chardonnay made in Franciacorta which is the classic method region of Italy (close to Milan in Lombardy). The lees are still with the wine and that makes this wine unique and a please all. The wine has first fermentation in amphora vats and second one in the bottle by adding frozen must of previous vintage. After 16 months on lees gets released. White - Cosimo Maria Masini Annick 2017
Sauvignon Blanc and Vermentino from San Miniato Tuscany. Great drinking wine from Francesco de Filippis that has some of the finest Muscadet producers raving from. A must try.
Rose’ - Cosimo Maria Masini Matilde 2017
A rose from Sangiovese and Sanforte (whaaat? a rare variety from the area). Not a whimpy one this is great with food
Orange - Palazzo Tronconi Fregellae 2016
Orange are white grape varieties vinified as you would with reds. Read as they used to do. The wines gave complexity that few have. This is from South Lazio and is made of Maturano Bianco, Pampanaro and Capolongo (if you nver heard of these you are not the only one… these are very rare varieties… you’re welcome!)
Cosimo Maria Masini Sincero 2016
Sangiovese and the familiar Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc (with a touch of Ciliegiolo and Bonamico underneath). Like the name says it this one is a please all. Think about any food… add sincero (sincere in Italian) . DONE
Palazzo Tronconi Mocevo’ 2016
Mo Ce Vo! means in Roman Now We Need This! It is Sangiovese (is everywhere) some old vines of Merlot that Marco Marrocco has not the heart to pull and Lecinaro which is a grape variety local quite similar to Syrah.
